Something Else To Do was written in 1988, not long before we moved from Reno to Bethel, Alaska. Certainly found something else to do since then. This recording was made in September of this year (2001) and submitted to APRN's Alaska Song of the Year contest. Don't know yet if it has made the cut. I'd hope this song would at least get past the first round of judging and into the Honorable Mention arena. Lots of competition in the folk category however.
